Video showing one of many user trials conducted with our prototype TR system. The system consists of a head mounted display (NVIS SX-60) and a modified Microsoft Kinect as the sensor. Everything runs in real time on a consumer-level PC. This work has been accepted as a short paper and will be demonstrated at ISMAR 2011. The paper is titled "Transformative Reality: Augmented Reality for Visual Prostheses". The research was funded by the Australian Research Council Research in Bionic Vision Science and Technology Initiative (SRI 1000006).
